[Kenya 2013] Project date posponed
Kenya’s situation with the current local elections carries significant importance far beyond its borders. This is the reason why our FbD project has been put in hold, and will most likely be postponed to July 2013 as peace and patience was urged while ballots were counted this last week. Kenya’s election commission officially declared Uhuru Kenyatta the winner of the presidential election after he received 50.07 percent of the votes cast. We can just hope that at least the people supporting the non-elected party will use other ways for demonstration than violence, and that these Kenya elections are managed in the most peacefull manner.
