[Colombia 2013] Thursday 4th of April – Colegio Antonio Lopez de Pumarejo Bogota
On April the 4th, FbD had the pleasure to visit the school Antonio López de Pumarejo. We were warmly welcomed by Ofelia, the English teacher of the School.
The agenda for the day entailed two classes, one in the morning with one hundred of students and other one after lunch with other hundred. We were suggested to split the groups and do our course in parallel in two different rooms. The suggestion was made to manage these full of energy teens easier. We decided not to split, and it was without regret. Our audience showed big interest in the content of the class, being really participative. Apparently the information had spread during the break, as we got quite a few more seats taken for the second part of the class….
Everything with the group in the afternoon ran as good as the one in the morning, beside the fact that we suffered the first crash in history of FbD during our aeromodel exhibition. Not much harm was done, as the plane was ready to fly again the next day.
We do really have nice memories of the students of this school. The moment of leaving was difficult, both for us and the kids it seemed 🙂
